Farhad Ghaderi

Honest, Personal, Raw

Born and raised in Mexico City, Farhad is a Mexican-Iranian-Canadian music video director living in Vancouver.

His work aims to explore nuances of identity and intimacy, to find honest and deep emotion in the endless grey areas of our relationships.

Farhad’s work has screened in festivals around the world and has been featured in Shots.net, Vogue, Booooooom, and Nowness. In 2019 he was awarded the Canadian Society of Cinematographers Award and more recently, his music video Virtuous Circle won Gold at the Young Director Award, was shortlisted at the UKMVAs and awarded at the Shiny Awards for Best Music Video.

Farhad was awarded a coveted Young Guns 19 spot from the One Club for Creativity.
